1.Singapore Flyer

Though it doesn’t stand on our list of top 5 places to visit in Singapore but is definitely  worth a visit. The Singapore Flyer is 165 meters tall and stands as second tallest observation wheel. It is located in Downtown Core district of Singapore. The ferris wheel has 28 air-conditioned gondolas with glass on all sides providing you a complete 360* view of Singapore.

You can view the iconic and historical sites such as Marina Bay to Singapore River, Raffles Palace, Merlion Park, Empress Palace and the Padang. If you are lucky and the weather is clear you will also see the Sentosa Island and parts of Malaysia. The ride goes on for 30 minutes and comes with add-ons as well. 3.Night safari

Night Safari is the world’s first nocturnal zoo of Singapore located in Mandai. It is a part of Mandai Wildlife Reserve along with Singapore Zoo, Jurong Bird Park and River Wonders. There is also a display of the history of Singapore’s first Prime Minister, Lee Kuan Yew.

5.Singapore Zoo

If you are an animal lover or want to take your time-off from the main crowded attractions of Singapore, then Singapore Zoo is that one place you should visit to. The Singapore Zoo, part of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, is around 69 acres big in size.

Singapore Zoo is home to around 2800 animals from 300 species from around the world which include Malayan tapirs, white tigers and crocodiles. One thing you’ll notice is that the Singapore Zoo always exhibits animals in open naturalistic habitats with hidden barriers, moats and glas barrier between animals and visitors. It is also has the largest captive colony of orangutans in the world. Singapore Zoo dedicates special attention to threatened primates and threatened southeast Asian  Chelonians.
